Bechtelsville, PA (August 22, 2018) Tony Stewart will lead the field of 410 sprint cars to the Grandview Speedway on Thursday night, August 23 for the 4th Annual Thunder Cup sanctioned by the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions 410 Sprints joined by the NASCAR 358 Modifieds. This event is part of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series and is presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment. Gates will open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM.

Advance tickets may be ordered by calling 443-513-4456. Please speak clearly and leave your name and the number of tickets you would like. Tickets may be paid for and picked up at the Will Call Window on race night after 3:30 PM. Advance ticket holders may enter the grandstands at 4:30 PM, one half hour prior to general admission tickets going on sale at 5 PM. Advance tickets orders will be available until 9 AM on race day, Thursday, August 23 then general admission tickets go on sale at 5 PM. Adult admission tickets are $30, children 6 to 11 $10 and children five and under will be admitted for free. The pit fee is $35 and a license is not required.

On race night, fans are invited to stop by the Levan Machine & Truck Equipment display in the grandstand area and you may register for a chance to win a $250 gift certificate to be used at Levan Machine & Truck Equipment.

THUNDER ON THE HILL RACING SERIES EVENTS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

Thunder on the Hill Racing Series events are held at Grandview Speedway, one of the most historic and celebrated dirt track venues in the Northeastern United States. Located just east of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, Grandview Speedway is a one-third-mile, high-banked clay oval that has hosted continuous professional stock car racing since opening in 1963.

Built by Forrest Rogers and operated by the Rogers family for multiple generations, the speedway has become known for its exciting, close-quarters racing and deep roots in grassroots motorsports. The track features weekly competition in divisions such as Modifieds and Sportsman and hosts a variety of special events and touring series throughout the season.

The brainchild of Grandview Speedway owner Bruce Rogers, special events promoter Bob Miller and local driving star Dave Kelly, the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series celebrates 34 years of the most anticipated events on the racing calendar year after year. In 149 events over $5.3 million dollars has been divvied up among the area’s fastest racers.
