CHAMPIONS TO BE DECIDED, EXTRA CASH IN BOTH DIVISIONS FROM HOPE MORTGAGE

It’s time to crown the champions. That is what will be happening at Grandview Speedway Saturday night with the running of the Hope Mortgage Team Night featuring the T.P.Trailers NASCAR Modifieds and T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman in a doubleheader card of stock car racing excitement.

A full slate of qualifying events will lead up to a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds and a 25-lap Sportsman main event.

With 11 different winners in the Sportsman and 7 different winners in the Modifieds it is anyone’s guess as to who will be the feature winners and who will be crowned the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series track champions.

And to add even more interest Hope Mortgage is adding $1,000 for each feature winner meaning the Modified winner goes home with $3800 and the Sportsman winner pockets $1800. In addition there will be Cash Dash events plus awards for the Hard Chargers and Hard Luck racers courtesy of Hope Mortgage.

Going into the final point night ten time champion Craig Von Dohren leads the Modified standings while defending champion Duane Howard, a six time champion, is holding on to second spot. In the Sportsman division Brian Hirthler, recently announced as the American Racer Cup Sportsman Champion, sits on top of the standings.

Just announced. Competition Carburetion Fast Lap of $50 awarded in each feature event on September 12 plus Friday, Sept. 18 for the Freedom 38 and for the Saturday September 19th Freedom 76.

All winners are entered into a random drawing at the end of the season for a Grand prize of $500.00

Fans are invited to come out early as the popular Da Rev’s Meet & Greet gets started at 5 p.m. and features 10 time Mod champion Jeff Strunk, last week’s Modified winner Kevin Hirthler and Hope Mortgage sponsored Sportsman racer Lex Shive.
