CENTRAL PENNA LEGENDS FEATURE WON BY AUSTIN BELLEMARE AS MA NATURE WIPES OUT THE NASCAR FEATURES ON SATURDAY NIGHT

BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 1, 2019 . . . The Central Pennsylvania Legends made their first visit to Grandview Speedway on Saturday night with Austin Bellemare adding his name to the impressive list of feature winners at the Bechtelsville clay oval. Unfortunately Ma Nature decided to make a visit just as the T.P.Trailers NASCAR Modified feature was on the track wiping out the balance of the racing action.

As a result the rained out T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman feature will be added to next Saturday’s schedule of events. The rained out Modified feature will be added to the June 15th show.

Finishing behind Bellemare in the Legends feature was Alex Schmiedel followed by Aaron Updegraff, Mason Chaney and Scott Spidle.

Whelan Engineering, a longtime supporter of NASCAR, will be the sponsor of the June 8th triple feature show that will now include the action packed NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Sportsman (2 – 25 lap features) as the battle for the NASCAR titles gets into high gear. Action starts at 7:30 p.m. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. Adult admission is $15 while youngsters under 12 admitted free.

On Tuesday, June 11, the first of five of the exciting Thunder on the Hill Series events scheduled for this season will be presented. The Jesse Hockett Classic will feature the United States Auto Club (USAC) National Wingless Sprint Tour along with the always popular 358 Modifieds. Racing action will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m. Fans should plan to arrive early and meet USAC racers Robert Ballou, Isaac Chapple, Joe Biasi along with NASCAR 358 Modified standout who will also be racing in the USAC Sprint races.

Another tripleheader show of Modifieds (two features) and Sportsman will be the attraction on June 15th and will be seen on a delayed basis on RCN-TV.
