TWO NIGHTS OF RACING MAKE UP 47TH ANNUAL FREEDOM 76 REMEMBERING BRUCE ROGERS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY, SEPTEMBER 15-16
BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 12, 2017 . . . Two nights of stock car racing excitement will make the 47th Annual Freedom 76 In Honor of Bruce Rogers at Grandview Speedway, September 15th and 16th.
The big event of the weekend will be the $30,000 to win Modified stock car classic with many of the top names in the sport of dirt track Modifieds expected to race on Saturday. Past winners include current point leader Craig VonDohren (six wins), Stewart Friesen, Jeff Strunk, Ray Swinehart, Duane Howard, Meme DeSantis, and Billy Pauch Sr. All are expected to be part of the 47th Annual Freedom 76 being run in memory of the late track owner/promoter Bruce Rogers who passed away in late March.
A full slate of qualifying events will lead up to the 76 lap Classic.
Adult admission is priced at $40 on race day and $35 when purchased in advance at the track during Saturday night race events. Saturday race events still on the schedule include August 19, 26th, September 2nd and Champions Night September 9th. Youngsters 6 thru 11 pay $10 and kids under six are admitted FREE.
On Friday night the Modified racers will have the opportunity to run some practice laps as part of the Sportsman stock car and Mid Atlantic Sprint Series doubleheader. Admission for the Friday night racing is just $12 for adults, $5 for youngsters 6 thru 11 and kids under are admitted free.
