BERNHEISEL RACE CARS SPONSORED NIGHT WILL FEATURE A 30-LAP BRC LATE MODEL FEATURE WITH $10,000 IN GIFT AND MANUFACTURER AWARDS AVAILABLE; TP TRAILERS MODIFIEDS AND SPORTSMAN ALSO PART OF THE NIGHT OF ACTION AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

        GEISWITE CREATIONS “BACK TO SCHOOL PROMOTION” PACKED WITH GIVEAWAYS

BECHTELSVILLE, PA August 3, 2016 . . . The BRC Late Models will be in the limelight on Saturday night when Bernheisel Race Cars Night offers a 30-lap feature for the popular NASCAR division of racing with $10,000 in gift and manufacturer awards being distributed to them. And the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be using the night of racing action as a tune-up event for the $10,000 to win Pioneer Pole Buildings Forrest Rogers Memorial, a 50-lapper, coming up on Saturday, August 13th. The Sportsman stock cars will also be part of the three division night of racing that will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

       In addition to the Bernheisel promotion Geiswite Creations is presenting a Back To School Giveway Night with school age kids having a chance to win some great backpacks. First 100 school-agers through the main gate will receive a folder with notepad and pencils.        As is the norm the Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet taking place at the main gate area at 5 p.m. will feature Modified racer Glenn Owens, Sportsman talent Ken Eckert Jr. and rising young Late Model star Dan Green.

       With just five point nights remaining the competition is bound to be tougher for all as racers try to claim championship points in the NASCAR and track point battles. Craig VonDohren leads the Modified standings while Chuck Schutz is on top in the Late Models and Jordan Henn leads the Sportsman division.

     The Saturday night show will feature qualifying events for all divisions topped off by a 30-lap feature for the BRC Late Models and Modifieds followed by a 25-lap main event for Sportsman.

       Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with adult tickets selling for $15 and youngsters under 12 being admitted free.

        The WNPV-1440AM Radio sponsored night rained out last week has been rescheduled for September 3rd. And the Henning Trains Lionel train giveaway, also rained out last week, is rescheduled for August 20th.

     Opportunities are now available to sponsor laps for $20, sponsor qualifying events at $250 or sponsor an award based on the budget that is available all for the Freedom 76 Classic.        Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay track, is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown.
