BECHTELSVILLE, PA MAY 14, 2026 . . . . . . . . The Levan & Truck Equipment Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will kickoff their 2026 season when the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing Roto-Rooter 410 Sprint Series takes on “The Hill” at the Grandview Speedway Tuesday night, May 19. This show is presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment and Rich Mar Florist. Gates will open at 5 PM with time trials at 6:45 PM followed by opening ceremonies with heat race events getting underway at 7:35 PM. In the event of rain, Wednesday, May 20 will be the rain date. Advance ticket holders will enter the grandstand through the first turn gate as we did the prior three years. This process goes extremely quick and smooth and allows all advance ticket holders to select their seats prior to general admission tickets going on sale. On race night, gates will open at 4:30 PM for Advance ticket holders, with general admission tickets going on sale at 5 PM at the main entrance.

Some additional prestige goes with winning this event as we honor the memory of racing great Greg Hodnett. The Hodnett Cup is dedicated to Greg Hodnett, a feature winner, multiple champion and star of the PA Posse who lost his life in a racing accident in 2018. The Hodnett Cup is an actual trophy that belonged to Greg and each year, the event winners’ name is added to the cup. Previous winners of the Hodnett Cup at Grandview include Danny Dietrich, Aaron Reutzel, ,Kyle Larson, Rico Aberu a two-time winner and Logan Schuchart.

Some of the High Rollers expected include Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu, Danny Dietrich, Brent Marks, Kasey Kahne, Tyler Courtney, Ryan Timms, Tanner Thorson, Aaron Reutzel, Giovanni Scelzi, Kerry Madsen, Justin Peck, Sye Lynch, Brady Bacon, Tanner Holmes and Daison Pursley to name a few.

Alpine Building Supply will be selling a special edition of an Alpine Thunder on the Hill Racing Series shirt. The Alpine Thunder on the Hill Series Shirt will showcase a 410 Sprint, a Non-Wing 410 Sprint and a 358 Modified on the back with the Alpine Building Supply and Thunder on the Hill logos placed on the front of the shirt. In addition, all profits from the sale of these shirts will be donated to the Big Impact Group of Schuylkill County. Big Impact Group is a mentoring program helping Schuylkill County youth for over 35 years. Through the dedication of our volunteers and strong community support we are able to make this program successful.

The Alpine Thunder Series shirts will be sold at the Alpine Building Supply display at the Grandview Speedway at all Thunder on the Hill events. Based on availability, shirts will be sold at other locations where Alpine Building Supply will be on display. Shirts will be $20 up to XL and $25 for larger sizes. THUNDER ON THE HILL RACING SERIES EVENTS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

Thunder on the Hill Racing Series events are held at Grandview Speedway, one of the most historic and celebrated dirt track venues in the Northeastern United States. Located just east of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, Grandview Speedway is a one-third-mile, high-banked clay oval that has hosted continuous professional stock car racing since opening in 1963.

Built by Forrest Rogers and operated by the Rogers family for multiple generations, the speedway has become known for its exciting, close-quarters racing and deep roots in grassroots motorsports. The track features weekly competition in divisions such as Modifieds and Sportsman and hosts a variety of special events and touring series throughout the season.
