Another great Saturday night action packed show of stock car racing
is set for tonight at Grandview Speedway. The Holiday weekend excitement
continues with the annual Firecracker 40 for BRC Late Model stock cars with
point leader Randy Stoudt looking to pick up the victory and become the all time
leading Late Model feature winner and earn $2,000 plus bonus bucks from T.P.
Trailers. In addition the NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be back in action with point
leader Jeff Strunk looking to win his third of the season. And in the Sportsman
action it will be point leader Jared Umbenhauer trying to add another win to his
already impressive resume. Kory Fleming and his Sleeping Hollow Late Model team
will send four youngsters home very happy as winners of the bicycles the team
will be giving away for the sixth straight year. And topping off the night will
be a fantastic fireworks display.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for spectators and at the same time, at the
main gate, a Low Down & Dirty Meet and Greet will take place featuring
former champion Terry Meitzler, Kory Fleming and Sportsman talent Brett Gilmore.
Fans will get an up close look at the cars, collect autographs and take pictures
as part of the Holiday fun. Racing starts at 7:30
Adult admission is $25, youngsters 6 through 12 pay just $5 and
