BECHTELSVILLE, PA,  “The voice of the Schuylkill River Valley and Beyond” WEEU-830 AM radio will be broadcasting the racing action live at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, May 24.

The popular news and talk format radio station, a sponsor of rookie racer Brad Arnold in the NASCAR 358 Modified series at the Bechtelsville racing facility, will have veteran broadcasters Dave Kline and Keith Fritz in the booth to describe the exciting stock car racing action taking place on the one-third-mile, banked clay oval. Well known area motorsports figure Mike Feltenberger, who has his own motorsports TV show on BCTV (Reading, PA) will be a roving reporter interviewing racers and personalities involved with the Whelen sponsored night of NASCAR stock car racing.

Included in the night of racing will be NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. A full series of qualifying events will be presented leading up to a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds and 25-lap features for the Late Models and Sportsman.

Reading based WEEU Radio has long been a supporter of area auto racing sponsoring race cars and motorsports events.

The broadcast will start with the wave of the green flag at 7:30 p.m. and continue through all the racing events presented during the course of the night.

Rising young star Brad Arnold, sponsored by WEEU, will be participating in a Meet and Greet session that will allow fans to get an up close view of the WEEU Modified, take photos, and have their picture taken with Brad. There will also be giveaways for many fans at the WEEU tent area.

Should the May 24th not be able to be run because of weather problems WEEU will return on Saturday, May 31st for that tripleheader show of NASCAR stock car racing.

Grandview Speedway, one of NASCAR’s most successful weekly short tracks, is located on Passmore Road, just off Route 100, in Bechtelsville, PA, just 10 miles north of Pottstown.
