BECHTELSVILLE, PA For the fifth time in his hugely successful auto racing career Oley, PA’s Duane Howard will be honored as the NASCAR 358 Modified champion at Grandview Speedway’s annual awards banquet set for Saturday, November 17th at the Gilbertsville, PA Fire Co. Social Hall. The banquet will conclude the 50th anniversary season of auto racing at the Berks County clay oval rated as one of the most successful weekly short track operations in the nation.
Chuck Schutz (Pottstown) will take home the championship honors for the sixth time in the NASCAR Late Model division as well as the NASCAR National honors in the Titlelist Division II Dirt standings.
And Jared Umbenhauer of Richland, PA will be honored as the NASCAR Sportsman champion as the Sportsman division celebrates a successful first season of racing at Grandview Speedway. Brad Brightbill has earned the NASCAR National honors in the Titlelist Division III Dirt standings.
Howard, Schutz and Brightbill have been invited to be part of the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Awards Banquet at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC in early December.

In addition top performers in all divisions will be honored and a variety of special awards will be presented.
It is IMPORTANT for drivers and owners to be aware that they must be in attendance at the banquet in order to receive their point money and awards.
Doors will open at 4 p.m. with dinner being served at 6 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony and music for dancing.
