BECHTELSVILLE, PA September 12, 2012 . . . Fans are invited to see and hear Grandview Speedway champions at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 15th in the first turn area of the speedway grounds. NASCAR Whelen All American Series Modified champion Duane Howard, Late Model champion Chuck Schutz and Sportsman champion Jared Umbenhauer will be interviewed by track announcer Ernie Saxton.
All three champions will have their race cars on display along with other interesting items that relate to the BPG Racing Freedom 76 that is being run that evening starting at 7 p.m.
Fans are invited to bring their cameras so they can get some great pictures of the champions.
Several race teams will have their cars on display and will be offering t-shirts and other items for sale.
In addition track management has announced that security will be in place for those racers having their race cars teched and then left overnight in the track pit area.
“We will have security in place along with cameras and all night lighting. The gate will be locked,” said assistant race organizer Kenny Rogers. “Racers leaving their race cars and haulers can rest assured that their equipment will be safe.
Lighting will also be left on in other areas of the speedway grounds. The PA State Police will be patrolling the area from time to time.
The 42nd annual BPG Racing Freedom 76, paying $50,000 and more to the winner, is set to take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 15th at Grandview Speedway located in Bechtelsville, PA.
